Cassandra Castro is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner licensed in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. Since beginning her nursing career in 2016, she has gained experience across diverse settings including medical units, inpatient psychiatry, and hospice care.

Cassandra is bilingual in Spanish and English and is currently undergoing advanced training in Portuguese. She is EMDR-trained and trained in advanced perinatal psychopharmacology through Postpartum Support International.

Deeply committed to serving her community, Cassandra prioritizes ongoing professional development and regularly participates in global and regional psychiatric organizations including the Neuroscience Education Institute (NEI), the Association of Advanced Practice Psychiatric Nurses (AAPPN), the World Congress of Psychiatry, and Postpartum Support International.

Outside of work, you’ll often find her hiking with her dog, kayaking, or exploring new places around the world.
